The Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong (DAB) staged a protest in front of the United States Consulate General in Hong Kong today to strongly condemn the blatant collusion of the U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs, Daniel Kritenbrink, with the four wanted criminals in Hong Kong, namely Kwok Fung-yee, Yuan Gong-yi, Hui Wing-ting and Siu Joey, as well as his high-profile publicity campaigns, and his wilful attempts to smear the Hong Kong Police Force for their lawful actions in apprehending the criminals.
The DAB thinks that such a bad behaviour of the US officials fully reflects their hypocrisy and double standards on human rights and the rule of law, which is definitely unpopular and will only become a laughing stock in the end.
