Mr Louis Mak Law-mo, who was born in Shantou, Guangdong, developed a strong interest in art from a young age and spent his youth years creating street portraits. However, financial challenges faced by artists at the time caused Mr Mak to set aside his brushes and venture into business. Upon setting up a thriving business and retiring in the year 2000, Mr Mak reignited his passion for painting and began following famous artists, eventually receiving prominent recognition.

Not only has Mr Mak made remarkable achievements in the realm of art, but he has also earned profound respect for his noble character and charitable business. Through his annual organization of the banquet for senior citizens, he gives back to society in the form of tangible actions, by providing selfless assistance to the elderly in various communities. In 2000, Mr Mak set up a foundation, in which he donated all his proceeds to charitable causes. Mr Mak has utilized art as a means of giving back to society and supporting disadvantaged communities, showcasing his social responsibility as an artist.
