On the afternoon of Dec. 18, Chinese President Xi Jinping met with the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), John Lee, who came to Beijing to present his work report. The meeting took place at the Zhongnanhai.
During the meeting, President Xi Jinping listened to Lee's report on the current situation in Hong Kong and the work of the HKSAR government. Premier Li Qiang also attended the meeting.
