In a bid to promote civic engagement, the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) has urged the citizens of Hong Kong to cast their votes in the upcoming District Council Ordinary Election on December 10th. Recognizing the significance of each individual's vote, the HKIE emphasizes the importance of electing representatives who will serve the community's best interests.

In a recent video message, the Chief Executive and Secretary of the HKIE, Alfred Sit, along with other key officials of the organization, extended a warm invitation to all Hong Kong citizens, urging them to exercise their democratic rights and make their voices heard at the ballot box. 

The District Council Ordinary Election serves as a crucial platform for citizens to elect public servants who will be responsible for addressing local issues and concerns. With various candidates representing different political affiliations and ideologies, voters can select individuals who align with their values and priorities.
