
A project manager who is charged with underestimating the weight of a video panel that collapsed and hurt dancers during a MIRROR show in the last year has said he will plead not guilty in relation to the incident.
Joseph Leung, who is accused of conspiracy to defraud, appeared in the District Court on Thursday (Nov. 9).
Two co-defendants in the case earlier indicated that they will also plead not guilty to the charge.
Chief District Judge Justin Ko scheduled the men's trial for Oct. 16 next year.
A giant video screen came crashing down onto the stage during a concert by the boyband at the Hong Kong Coliseum in July last year.
The incident resulted in the injuries of two dancers, one of them critically.
