Jason Wong Chun-tat, a member of the election committee of the chief executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Hong Kong Yelite Association Executive vice chairman and Board Member of the UN Association of China, spoke at the 54th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) today (Sept. 29).
"I am delighted to inform everyone that the HK tourism industry is experiencing a strong recovery," he said.
He indicated that the implementation of the Hong Kong National Security Law has put an instant end to the chaotic situation and restored the overall security of HK, which has also brought confidence to tourists, investors, and the business community.
"I am confident that the HK tourism industry, with the solid support from our country (China), will continue to develop steadily, providing more and more job opportunities for young people," he added.
