Xia Baolong, Director of the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council (HKMAO), met with the delegation of the Chinese Manufacturers' Association of Hong Kong (CMA) led by Dr. Allen Shi in Beijing on Wednesday (Sept. 20) morning.
According to the HKMAO, Xia fully recognized CMA's tradition of patriotism and love for HK, as well as the positive contributions it has made to the country's reform and opening up and HK's economic development, and encouraged them to continue to fully and accurately carry out the principle of "one country, two systems," and to better play their roles in safeguarding national security, and promoting HK's prosperity, stability and integration into the overall development of the country.
Wang Linggui, Deputy Director of the HKMAO, and Yin Zonghua, Deputy Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, also attended the meeting.
