The MTR Corporation on Saturday (Sept. 9) afternoon said temporary repair work on overhead cables at Wong Tai Sin station had been completed and that services on the Kwun Tong Line were gradually resuming, with trains running at intervals of two-and-a-half to five minutes.
On Saturday morning, the railway company was forced to temporarily suspend services between Shek Kip Mei and Choi Hung due to an overhead power cable fault at Wong Tai Sin station, with an initial inspection pointing to a small water leak being the cause. The disruption came just hours after the MTR had resumed full services on the line.
