The Hong Kong Observatory (HKO) today (Sept.3) forecasts that Typhoon Haikui has entered the 800-kilometer radius of Hong Kong and is expected to cross the southern part of Taiwan today.
According to the current forecast, the anemone will enter the Taiwan Strait tomorrow (Sept. 4), and then move roughly along the coast from eastern Guangdong to southern Fujian, but its path is subject to change.
The HKO will consider issuing the first alert signal tomorrow morning, and the public is advised to pay attention to the latest weather forecast.
