The T8 signal will remain in force until 4:00 pm. All MTR rail services have resumed and will be maintained on a limited basis, while MTR bus services and Airport Express urban check-in services will continue to be suspended. In addition, all services of the Hong Kong section of the Express Rail Link were canceled today.
Trains on MTR Tsuen Wan Line, Kwun Tong Line, Island Line, South Island Line, Tseung Kwan O Line from North Point to Po Lam Station, Tuen Mun Line, and East Rail Line from Admiralty to Lo Wu Station will depart every 10 minutes, Tiu Keng Leng to LOHAS Park Station on Tseung Kwan O Line every 15 minutes, Light Rail every 15 to 20 minutes, Disneyland Resort Line every 20 minutes, Tung Chung Line and Airport Express every 30 minutes.
According to KMB, with the exception of LW routes S1, S64, S64C, S64P and S64X, which will provide limited service from the first bus, all other daytime routes will continue to be suspended. As for KMB routes B1 and B9, field staff are stepping up patrols of road sections along the routes, and limited service will be provided as soon as possible after confirming that the relevant road conditions permit.
Citybus routes B7 and S1 will continue to operate every 30 minutes starting from the first bus, with route B7 providing non-stop service between Fanling and Heung Yuen Wai Boundary Control Point only, while other daytime routes will be suspended.
Citybus said it would closely monitor the direction of the tropical cyclone. When Signal No. 8 is lifted, it will deploy staff to inspect major bus routes for assessment and announce the arrangements for resumption of bus services as soon as possible, subject to the weather and road conditions.
New Lantao Bus said that all daytime routes will be suspended, except for routes 37M, 38, 39M, B4 and B6 which will maintain limited service.
