Hong Kong police arrested a 20-year-old man on Wednesday afternoon in connection with an alleged incident of indecent assault during an orientation event at the University of Hong Kong (HKU).
On Thursday, HKU issued a statement, confirming that a case has been filed in relation to the alleged incident at an orientation camp organized by the nursing student society.
The arrestee is also a HKU student and has been detained on a charge of indecent assault. The university expressed its commitment to closely monitoring the situation.
