Chinese boy band TFBOYS' 10th-anniversary concert was held in Xi'an of Shaanxi province on August 6, according to the comprehensive report of Chinese media Guancha.
The revenue from the concert ticket sales was 35.76 million RMB, which directly drove 416 million RMB of tourism revenue.
According to local media, the online bookings of Xi'an accommodation increased significantly by 738% from the previous year on August 6-7.
Among them, tourists staying overnight accounted for 79.73 percent of the total number of visitors. In addition to admission fees, food, lodging, and transportation account for a significant portion of this tourism revenue.
48.34 percent of tourists said that in addition to seeing the concert, they also visited other scenic spots, with an average number of spots of 2.81.
