The Operations Department of the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) has launched a new recruitment exercise to recruit about 60 Investigators and Assistant Investigators.

The applications will be open from now until 1 September, and for the first time ever, it will also welcome third-year students of four-year universities. The ICAC will organize its first "ICAC Recruitment Experience Day" on August 19 at the ICAC Headquarters at North Point, where participants can apply for ICAC posts and undergo an entry test on the spot, and the passing results will be recorded and recognized immediately.

The "ICAC Recruitment Experience Day" includes recruitment seminars, guided tours of ICAC facilities, mock arrest and search operations, and sharing of ICAC staff's experience in the work and application process.

Interested parties are required to register in advance at the ICAC website to apply for admission tickets, which will be randomly allocated by computer ballot.

According to the ICAC, applicants must fulfil the academic and entry requirements and pass relevant tests. Successful applicants will be responsible for anti-corruption enforcement work in the Operations Department of the ICAC and will be provided with continuous on-the-job training.
