During the first half of this year, the Zhuhai Frontier Inspection Station checked over 73 million entries and exits at the main ports in its jurisdiction, including Gongbei, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, Hengqin, Qingmao, Wanzai, and Jiuzhou ports, representing an increase of 18 million compared to last year.
According to analysis, this year has seen a more frequent exchange of people between Hong Kong, Macao, and the Mainland, resulting in a continuous growth of passenger flow at neighboring ports in Hong Kong and Macao.
A new record for single-day passenger traffic achieved at Qingmao Port this year
Data shows that the average daily passenger flow at Gongbei Port reached 250,000 people.
Furthermore, in the first half of the year, the Hengqin Port in the Guangdong-Macao Intensive Cooperation Zone handled over 7 million entries and exits.
Simultaneously, the Qingmao Port has set a record high for 11 consecutive days this year, with the highest single-day passenger flow reaching 94,000, representing a 150% increase compared to the early days of operation.
Additionally, after resuming operations in January, the maritime ports of Jiuzhou and Zhongshan, which connect to Hong Kong, received nearly 180,000 and 300,000 entries and exits respectively in the first half of this year.

In terms of cross-boundary vehicles, policies such as "Northbound Travel for Macao Vehicles" and "Northbound Travel for Hong Kong Vehicles" play a significant role.
In the first half of the year, the entry and exit of vehicles at the Zhuhai Port of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge reached 1.25 million times , a growth of about 69% compared to last year.
Gongbei Port is renowned as a vital conduit for exporting fresh products to Macao and a favored gateway for cross-border vehicles from Macao.
In the first half of the year, the number of vehicles entering and exiting Gongbei Port surpassed 1.13 million times, reaching a record of nearly 8,500 vehicles on June 21, the highest in nearly three years.
Furthermore, the number of Macao single-plate vehicles passing through the Hengqin Port increased to around 340,000 times, doubling compared to last year.
