As part of an ongoing promotional effort to strengthen the sense of identity among Hong Kong people and to promote Hong Kong externally, the Information Services Department has set up a Government Gift Shop that sells a variety of souvenir items with unique Hong Kong features. The physical shop and online store opened today (July 7). Public members are welcome to visit the online store (www.giftshop.gov.hk) to purchase gifts of their choice.
A wide range of items are on sale, including memorabilia bearing the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Regional Flag, Regional Emblem, scenery, and tourism landmarks, as well as souvenirs with "Happy Hong Kong" Campaign designs to advocate cultural traditions and the city's allure.
The diverse souvenir collection features bowl and plate sets, teapots, cups, coffee mugs, tableware, folders, notebooks, tote bags, and bear toys.
Staff at and visitors to the Central Government Offices (CGO) are welcome to visit the physical gift shop, which is located at 1/F, East Wing, CGO, 2 Tim Mei Avenue, Tamar, Hong Kong. Opening hours are 10am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday.
