HK annual book fair set for July 19 with children and young adult literature theme

The 33rd HKTDC Hong Kong Book Fair, organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), will run from 19 to 25 July (Wednesday to Tuesday) at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC).

The fair, with the tagline "Reading the World: The Joy of Reading for Children & Youth,", explore the depth of children's and young adult’s literature and promote the fun of reading in the city.

This year's Book Fair has invited acclaimed writers and speakers and organized more than 600 seminars and cultural activities.

The HKTDC Hong Kong Sports and Leisure Expo and HKTDC World of Snacks will be held alongside the Book Fair, altogether welcoming about 760 exhibitors from more than 30 countries and regions, making it a summer must-visit spot for Hong Kong citizens. (DotDotNews)

Visitors can also enjoy the Sports and Leisure Expo and World of Snacks, which altogether attracted about 760 exhibitors, offering visitors three times the enjoyment on a single ticket.

The fair will run from 10 am to 10 pm daily, except for July 21, 22 and 25. The opening hours will be extended to 11 pm on July 21 and 22, respectively. While on July 25, the opening hours will be adjusted to 9 am to 5 pm, according to the organizer.

Tickets are HK$30 for adults and HK$10 for children and are available online and at convenience stores. Ticket holders can visit the Hong Kong Book Fair, Hong Kong Sports and Leisure Expo, and World of Snacks with the same ticket.
