Today (May 26) is the Buddha's Birthday and the Cheung Chau Bun Festival was held after three years' absence due to the pandemic.

The parades began at 2:00 p.m. and ended around 4:00 p.m.

This year, there are eight parades, organized by five kaifong associations, two sports associations and one clan association, with a total of about 19 vehicles.

The children, who have already painted their makeup, were mounted on a 2-meter-high stand, where they were fixed on the stand and dressed in various themed costumes. The Chinese unicorn dance was also performed.
