CE disappointed with Cathay Pacific incident, hoping to recreate HK's image of hospitality

Chief Executive John Lee said in his speech at an opening ceremony in Guangzhou on May 24 that he was saddened by the disrespectful remarks and actions made by the flight attendants of Cathay Pacific Airways.
He said these bad acts hurt the feelings of compatriots in Hong Kong and the Mainland, and undermine Hong Kong's long-standing culture and values of respect and courtesy.
According to Lee, he has told Cathay Pacific's Chief Executive Officer that although the three attendants involved had been dismissed, similar situations must not happen again and that Hong Kong's image of respectful and courteous hospitality must be recreated.
