'Fast X' stays atop China's box office chart

Data from the China Movie Data Information Network on Tuesday (May 23) showed that "Fast X" remained to hold the top position of China's box office chart on Monday (May 22).

The latest installment of the Fast and Furious action franchise generated a daily box office of nearly RMB 32.36 million (about US$4.6 million), bringing its total box office to RMB 575 million.

The domestic road comedy "Godspeed" came in second with a daily box office of RMB 8.08 million.

"Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3" stayed in third place, earning about RMB 5.64 million on Monday.
