Meituan will enter the Hong Kong market under the brand name "KeeTa" and the app will be available in Hong Kong as early as next Monday (May 22), making it Meituan's first overseas business presence outside of mainland China.
It is reported that Meituan started recruiting in Hong Kong in late February this year, offering higher treatment than its local counterparts.
The company revealed earlier that the industry standard is about 2 orders per hour, and all rewards will be given to delivery staff who finish over 500 orders that month, with walkers earning more than HK$20,000 and cyclists earning up to HK$35,000.
