Connie Talk EP3 | Qatari consul general: HK a multi-faceted hub with world-class infrastructure
Qatar successfully held the 2022 FIFA World Cup, which was the first World Cup to be held in the Middle East, providing a brilliant chance for people across the globe to take a glance at the Arab and Muslim world in the flesh.
In this episode of Connie Talk, we're glad to have His Excellency Mr. Ali AI-Hajri, the Consul General of the State of Qatar in HK and Macao, with us to touch on issues related to culture, trade and more.
"I think HK and Qatar prove that the size of a country or region geographically doesn't define the possibility and the good can come from it or the advancement in business or in all aspects of life," he said.
The consul added that HK is the best gateway to enter mainland China, and also, it's a very very hospitable international city, considering the living standards, the readiness, and the advancement of HK in different fields especially in finance and infrastructure.
"Stability security, safety and a modern infrastructure or transportation kind of like facilities that HK is, to be honest, one of the best."
AI-Hajri also mentioned that Qatar will be hosting the Asian Cup in 2023 as well as the Asian Games in 2030, welcoming people from HK and beyond to personally experience the grand events.
