Hong Kong's Chief Secretary for Administration, Chan Kwok-ki, will depart on Wednesday (April 26) for a three-day visit to Beijing. He will call on the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council and other central ministries and authorities, as well as the People's Government of Beijing Municipality, to exchange views on issues of common interest and strengthen interaction and cooperation, with a view to promoting Hong Kong's more active integration into the national development.
Mr Chan will also meet Hong Kong citizens living in Beijing, including young people, to understand their latest developments in the Mainland.
Mr Chan will return to Hong Kong on April 28. During Chan's absence, the Deputy Chief Secretary for Administration, Cheuk Wing-hing, will be the Acting Chief Secretary for Administration.
