Twitter Elon Musk, on Tuesday (April 4), replaced the iconic Twitter blue bird logo with Shiba Inu sending the prices of Dogecoin rallying by as much as 30 percent.
Twitter users noticed that the home buttons on Twitter profiles were changed to Shiba Inu of the Dogecoin that Musk Chung loves, which immediately triggered a lot of discussion among netizens.
After replacing the logo, Musk posted a creative hinting at changing the Twitter logo to a Dogecoin meme. The photograph posted by Musk showed Shiba Inu telling a security officer that the "bird logo" on an identity card was "an old photo".
Musk even revealed the reason for the logo change. Days ago, Musk had also tweeted a photograph of a conversation with a Twitter user, wherein the latter had suggested that Twitter's blue bird logo could be changed to Dogecoin. In response, Musk had said that "that would be sickkk".
Musk frequently mentions Dogecoin and says he personally holds the virtual currency. His electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla has also announced that it accepts Dogecoin for some of its products.
The change in the Twitter logo has also led to a rise in Dogecoin.
