U.S. President Joe Biden approved an emergency declaration for Mississippi on Sunday after a powerful storm tore across the state, killing at least 25 people there and one in Alabama.
The death toll rose to 25 on Saturday, after powerful storms and tornadoes swept across the U.S. state of Mississippi, according to the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency.
Earlier in the day, Governor Tate Reeves issued a State of Emergency for all affected counties.
