The Government reminded that starting from Wednesday (March 22), members of the public who need to undergo self-paid nucleic acid testing can receive such service at five community testing centres and community testing stations (CTC/CTSs), the rapid nucleic acid testing centre at Hong Kong International Airport or local testing institutions. The remaining 16 CTC/CTSs currently in service will cease operation.

Starting from March 22, the following five CTC/CTSs (see Annex for details) will continue the provision of self-paid nucleic acid testing service for citizens who need to obtain test results (e.g. certifications for work or travelling purposes). Citizens may visit the CTC website for details of pricing arrangements and making bookings.

1. Edinburgh Place, Central

2. Leighton Hill Community Hall, Causeway Bay

3. Henry G Leong Yaumatei Community Centre

4. Lek Yuen Community Hall, Sha Tin

5. Yuen Long Town East Community Hall

Separately, the Government has already informed individual citizens who have made a booking for testing on or after March 22 at the 16 testing points of the closure of these testing points. They were reminded that their reservation had been cancelled and they have to rearrange for testing services, including booking a new slot for testing at the above five remaining testing points.

Apart from the five testing points, a rapid nucleic acid testing centre operating 24 hours a day is being set up at Hong Kong International Airport to enable travellers to undergo self-paid tests prior to departure and obtain results within two hours. Citizens may also make their own arrangements for nucleic acid tests provided by local testing institutions. The list and location of local nucleic acid testing institutions recognised by the Government can be found on the following webpage: www.coronavirus.gov.hk/pdf/List_of_recognised_laboratories.pdf
