A laboratory accident occurred at the City University of Hong Kong at about 2:30 pm today (Feb. 27).
The police reported that at a laboratory of the CityU at Tat Chee Avenue of Kowloon Tong, a chemical explosion spattered injuries to a man and a woman two students.
Rescuers soon arrived at the scene, and it is reported that the scene has been controlled.
Police are investigating the cause of the incident, which is temporarily classified as an explosion case.
According to the source, the incident happened when students were carrying out experiments.
