Recently, A Guilty Conscience starring Dayo Wong Tsz-wah was released in theaters. Up to now, the movie has grossed more than HK$82 million, ranking first in the history of Hong Kong movies, and the total box office is still rising as the movie is still on the screen.
The movie is based on the Hong Kong legal system and tells the story of a lawyer who is not to submit to force and makes up for his mistakes and redeems himself while clearing his name.
The movie will be released in the Mainland in late February, which shows also that it is as widely recognized by audiences as the previous movie, Table For Six. The movie is another of Wong's masterpieces to break his title of "box-office poison".
