U.S. missiles hit balloon: Biden bumps into Trump

The "wandering balloon incident" continues to receive a great deal of attention recently. On the first day of the incident (Feb. 2), a Pentagon spokesman stated that the U.S. government has discovered and is tracking a high-altitude surveillance balloon that has been flying over the U.S. mainland for several days, and that the U.S. military is "confident" that the high-altitude surveillance balloon came from China.

U.S. Defense Secretary Austin convened senior Pentagon officials to evaluate the balloon incident; after studying it, he concluded that the balloon passed above civilian air traffic, posed no military or personal hazard, and presented no serious intelligence risk. In spite of this, certain U.S. media outlets have made a big deal about the "Chinese spy balloon theory," and public opinion is divided on the topic.

The balloon's appearance over the U.S. mainland last week caused unease in Washington, D.C., and Secretary of State Blinken postponed his visit to China. The Chinese side responded by clarifying two important facts: the airship is civilian in nature and is used for meteorological and other scientific research; its arrival in the U.S. was influenced by the westerly winds, causing the airship to deviate significantly from its intended course, which was an accident caused by force majeure.

By the end of last week (Feb. 4), the U.S. claimed to have sent the most advanced F-22 Raptor! Firing an AIM-9X Rattlesnake air-to-air missile! --Shot down the Chinese balloon, said to be the first air-to-air combat result of the F-22......

With the U.S. Air Force using more than US$400,000 worth of missiles to shoot down a Chinese balloon, U.S. media speculation appears to be at an end. CNN did not forget, however, to offer Trump and the Republican Party eyedrops, stating that the United States discovered three Chinese balloon incursions into U.S. airspace during Trump's presidency.

Former President Trump became enraged and quickly targeted the Biden administration。 According to Trump, the Chinese balloon problem is a disgrace, and Chinese balloons during the Trump administration to 'cool down' the slow-moving Biden.Trump accused the Biden administration of disseminating false information and denied that a comparable incident with balloons had occurred in the United States during his term.
