Fatal traffic accident happens in Tsing Yi
A 69-year-old man was killed in a traffic accident today (Feb. 7) in Tsing Yi, which police are investigating.
At around 8:14 am, a private car driven by the 69-year-old man was traveling along Tsing Kwai Highway towards Kowloon. The driver reportedly passed out when approaching Lai King Estate, and the private car lost control and rammed into noise barriers.
Sustaining no superficial injury, the man was rushed to Princess Margaret Hospital in an unconscious state and was certified dead at 9.11 am.
The Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories South is conducting an investigation.
