Chan Kwok-ki: Special arrangements made to help cross-boundary students return to school
The Acting Chief Executive, Chan Kwok-ki, said at a press conference before attending the Executive Council meeting today (February 7) that the number of people crossing the boundary between Hong Kong and mainland China at the coming weekend is expected to increase significantly.
Cross-boundary students from secondary schools will return to HK from tomorrow, while those from primary schools, kindergartens and special schools will do so from February 22. Chan said special arrangements will be made at the control points to help cross-boundary students to cross the boundary and preparations will be made for cross-boundary school buses to make it easier for them to cross the boundary.
