Travel More: Heaven-like place in Xinjiang - Hemu Village

Hemu Village in Burqin County is close to Kanas Lake and has a lovely setting. Although Kanas Lake's tranquil beauty may already be well known to many, Hemu Village's lush grassland, endless woodland, and hazy snowcapped mountains will welcome you to a secret Chinese fairyland.

Many people find it impossible to resist the urge to travel to Hemu Village in the autumn, when the village is illuminated by the golden leaves. A fantastic watercolor painting is created when the river reflects the mountains and woods. Additionally, you might be able to see the lake's hue change multiple times per day.

The largest and most isolated of the three Tuva ethnic group homes is Hemu Village. Kanas Village and Baihaba Village, both in Xinjiang, are the other two.

The inhabitants have maintained their primitive, prehistoric way of life, and many still depend on raising animals for their livelihood. The wooden homes that make up their neighborhood are dispersed around the community. Each door opens to the east, and the roof is typically fastened with wood.

The Hemu River, whose water comes from the snow peak, is located across from the residential area. Two bridges cross the river, and they are commonly referred to as the Hemu Bridges. Both are used by local herders and their animals, with one being utilized by tourists to cross the river to the Hemu viewing platform.

For photographers, Hemu Village is unquestionably heaven. Both sunrises and sunsets present excellent opportunities for beautiful photographs. When night falls, the sky's profusion of stars provides an eerie and captivating scene. You can just lay on the ground, look up at the stars, and clear your head.

Transportation: First, fly to Urumqi, then take a flight to Burqin Kanas Airport. It is strongly advised to travel by road in order to reach the destination and explore Xinjiang.
