According to International Organization for Migration (IOM), remains of 27 illegal migrants were found in the Chadian desert of Africa, including four kids.

IOM has mentioned that, about one and a half years ago, this group of illegal migrants left Musoro, a Midwestern city of Chad. Unfortunately, they got lost in the desert after their truck broke down and eventually died due to lack of water. IOM has found the tragedy extremely shocking and heartbreaking and sent its condolences to the family of the deceased.

IOM has pointed out that, during the past eight years, more than 5,600 people have died or disappeared while crossing the Sahara, including 110 recorded deaths in Chad.
