GBA heritage summit to be held, registration welcomed
The Greater Bay Area Built Heritage Summit is scheduled for November 9 and 10. The event has already opened for registration.
Jointly organized by the Commissioner for Heritage's Office and the Antiquities & Monuments Office, the event is being held to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region's establishment.
Around 30 officials, experts, scholars and business leaders from the bay area will share their experiences and ideas on four aspects: new development in built heritage conservation and adaptive reuse of historic buildings, knowledge sharing and public engagement, application of new technologies in heritage conservation and education, and cross-boundary collaborations.
A conference proceeding comprising articles written by the speakers will also be published.
The summit will be held at City Hall with free admission on a first come, first served basis.
