Hong Kong male group MIRROR had a serious accident at their concert at Hong Kong Coliseum on Thursday (July 28). A large TV display board fell from a height and injured two dancers. One of them, "Mo" Lee Kai-yin is in serious condition. The 27-year-old dancer's father in Canada, Pastor Lee and his mother arrived at Hong Kong International Airport early this morning (July 31) at about 6:00 a.m., are undergoing procedures, and will later rush to the hospital to visit their beloved son.
A spokesman for Queen Elizabeth Hospital said yesterday that Lee has completed surgery and is now in the intensive care unit. As the injured person needs throat anesthesia during surgery, according to the established clinical condition classification criteria, the injured person is temporarily classified as critical condition, and the injured person's viral signs are stable.
Sources earlier said he suffered from a cerebral hemorrhage and burst fracture at his fourth and fifth cervical vertebrae, and could be paralyzed from his neck down in the worst-case scenario.
