At around 10.35 p.m. on Thursday (July 28), a large TV screen came loose during a performance by the local boy band MIRROR at the Hong Kong Coliseum, injuring at least two dancers, an accident that shocked HK.
The two dancers were rushed to the hospital. The police have classified the case as an industrial accident and referred it to the Kowloon City Police District Major Crime Unit for follow-up investigation.
According to local reports, one dancer sustain a slight head injury, while the other dancer sustains cerebral hemorrhage and a burst fracture at the fourth cervical vertebra, and was in intensive care.
As of 12.00 today, sources say the severely injured dancer has undergone a surgery, yet the result is yet to be revealed.
