On Facebook, Hong Kong police announced today (July 24) that the Cheung Chau police district had introduced mini patrol cars.
One of the photos shows a small patrol car parked on the path to Tung Wan Beach, Cheung Chau. The new vehicle is a Suzuki Hustler from Nissan, about 3 meters long, 1.5 meters wide, and 1.7 meters high, suitable for driving in narrow streets and alleys.

In April, the Peak Sub-Division Police Station also introduced this small patrol car.

The first police car on Cheung Chau dates back to October 2000, a five-seat police patrol car.
