Not An Outsider EP10 | French chef vlogger conquers hearts of 3 million followers by his appetising Chinese food

Corentin, a tall, graceful and warm-hearted French man, is always smiling when he talks, with elegant gray-blue eyes that sparkle when he laughs.

In order to pursue the life he wanted, this former elite businessman entered the high-class French culinary academy, Institut Paul-Bocuse in Lyon, France, to pursue his studies. He even got noticed by the legendary chef Paul Bocuse, also known as the "godfather of French gastronomy", for his natural culinary talent.

Corentin has a special affinity for China and Chinese food. As early as 2001, he started to learn Chinese because of his curiosity and love for China. When he first came to China, he even went to rustic China's wet markets to buy food for cooking. In 2010, he was commissioned by his alma mater, Institut Paul-Bocuse, to lead a team of experienced French chefs to open a branch of the Institut Paul-Bocuse in Shanghai, where he worked as a professor and head chef.

After living in China for more than 15 years, Corentin is becoming more and more "Chinese", speaking fluent Chinese, walking around the streets looking for greasy spoons with unique specialties, and getting used to the various flavors of Chinese cuisine. Currently, he is a professional chef of food development, not only for many international food companies, but also for many local Chinese food companies to develop authentic "taste of China".

In order to let more Chinese friends understand the process of food creation, he becomes a popular vlogger with more than 3 million followers on the Internet, and has shared content on several platforms, which is loved by many netizens.
