The World Population Review, a US think tank, released data on the average height of women worldwide in 2022. The average height of women in Hong Kong rose from 158.7 cm in 2021 to 160.62 cm in 2022, ranking 100th out of 195 regions.
Among Asian regions, the average height of Hong Kong women is higher than that of Japanese (158.5 cm) women but lower than that of the Mainland (163.46 cm) and Korean (163.23 cm) women. The study revealed that the average height of women in the Netherlands is the highest in the world, with 170.36 cm.
