At around 6 a.m. on Wednesday (April 6) morning, the National Security Department of the Hong Kong Police Force was seen at the residence of the disbanded Hong Kong Confederation of Trade Unions (HKCTU) in a building in Pak Po Street, Mongkok, to make an arrest.
They arrested six people this morning, including the former vice-chairman of the HKCTU, Leo Tang Kin-wah, for allegedly inciting other members of the public to disrupt the court on Jan. 4 during the trial of Chow Hang-tong, leader of the defunct anti-China organization, Hong Kong Alliance in Support of Patriotic Democratic Movements of China (HKASPDMC), with the intention of arousing hatred, contempt or rebellion against the administration of justice in Hong Kong.
