
Speaking at a regular press conference on combating the epidemic today (March 12), the Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Edward Yau Tang-wah, said that many of the supplies or distributions in Hong Kong delivered from the Mainland, such as proprietary Chinese medicines (pCms), stressing that the country's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has been assisting in ensuring stable supply.
He also revealed that more than 370,000 boxes (80 per cent) of three brands of pCms from the Mainland have arrived in Hong Kong which will be distributed to Hospital Authority's designated outpatient clinics and households under compulsory testing.
"The Central Government has pledged that a total of more than 450,000 boxes of pCms will be supplied to Hong Kong"
