Various sectors in Hong Kong and the Mainland have continued efforts to support the battle against the COVID-19 pandemic as the situation in the city is getting tense. The construction of a community isolation and treatment facility in Tsing Yi, known as the Tsing Yi mobile cabin hospital, was completed yesterday (Feb. 28) after a week, which is ready for use today (Mar. 1) at the earliest, and will provide 3,900 beds to COVID patients. 

Chief Secretary for Administration, John Lee, Secretary for Development, Michael Wong, and Deputy Director of the Hong Kong Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Chen Dong, attended a ceremony today to mark the completion of the Tsing Yi mobile cabin hospital.

According to DotDotNews' reporter, the mobile cabin hospital is clean and spacious, with three beds in each room. There are quilts, covers, sheets, mattresses, three bottles of water at the bedside table, lamps, plugs, and three stools inside the room. Each room is equipped with air-conditioning and blackout curtains. Every eight rooms share a bathroom and shower room, with 5 toilet cubicles and showers each.
