The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), which has become famous for its tricks in "making" news in recent years, has made a mistake again. Today (Jan. 19), when reporting on the release of Leung Tin-kei, an activist for "Hong Kong independence", from the prison in Shek Pik, the BBC showed a photo of Leung Hei, a member of the Legislative Council from the Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of HK.
It turns out that the mistake was caused by the fact that the two men share the same English name, namely "Edward Leung". Therefore, it is suspected that the BBC reporter knows little about HK and was reluctant to check the fact, which led to taking Leung Hei as Leung Tin-kei. Some netizens ridiculed the BBC "as dumb as a donkey".
