Legal Affairs EP06 | Espionage battlefield: HK caught in Western conspiracy traps

In the recently concluded Legislative Council election in HK, 90 lawmakers have been elected smoothly, with a high degree of acceptance and support from all sectors of the HK community. Certain Western anti-China forces continue to ignore the objective fact that HK has evolved from chaos to governance under the National Security Law and the improved electoral system, with an ulterior motive to dictate the progress of democracy in HK.

From the "China Mission Center" established by the CIA to the unwritten policy of "China containment," Western countries are targeting China's development at every turn. They have sent their agents to HK as diplomats, who lurk in embassies and use diplomatic immunity as a shield to commit various offenses in the city.

In this episode of Legal Affairs, Lawrence Ma, Chairman of the Hong Kong Foundation for Legal Exchange, continues to analyze for our audience the conspiracy of Western countries to interfere in HK's internal affairs, with solid evidence.

In the past, the White House has used military force to overthrow the regime of a country if it is not in line with the interest of the United States. For example, it sent troops to Middle Eastern countries and killed those who disobeyed the U.S. hegemony. In particular, US$10 trillion was appropriated for invasion of Afghanistan, which drew strong opposition from the international community.

[1:25] In order to avoid the immense cost of starting a real war, they started to create something like a "proxy war" in various countries and regions, according to Ma. They sent experienced agents and intelligence officers to disguise themselves as diplomats, to "brainwash" and "abet" the locals, and to train, equip and fund such "local proxies" to overthrow their own government.

"We have a lot of hard evidence about foreign spies involved in the "Occupy Central Movement in 2014," says Ma.

[04:40] Evidence 1: In a photo, Ms. Julie Eadeh, head of the political department of the U.S. Consulate General in Hong Kong, was talking and conspiring with Joshua Wong, an activist in the anti-China movement. Nathan Law, a fugitive who has absconded to Australia, was also in the photo.

[05:30] Evidence 2: Bauhinia Magazine published a journal report in 2013, indicating that the "HK-America Center," led by the U.S. Consulate General in HK and Macao, invited an experienced CIA operative to provide "training" to local students, who then initiated various violent protests and color revolutions in HK.

It is also well documented that some 200 key forces during the illegal "Occupy Central Movement" had previously attended training at the "HK-American Center".

[07:13] Evidence 3: Sixtus Leung, who was disqualified as a LegCo member, spoke with Guo Wengui, an exiled Chinese. Guo said in the phone call as being recorded, "Leave it to me. We will finance your actions. I have talked to Stephen Bannon. The U.S. government will settle things for you."

In addition, Ma also provided us with evidence of foreign spies' involvement during the 2019 riots.

[08:54] Evidence 1: The repeated appearance of a foreign man at the riot scenes at the New Town Plaza in Shatin on July 14; Central Government Liaison Office in Hong Kong on July 21, and the Kwai Chung Police Station on July 30. In a video recorded by reporters, he was using professional gestures to direct actions at the scene.

[10:14] Evidence 2: Before a riot, a CIA agent spoke to the students and directed their actions.
