The 2021 Legislative Council General Election will be held on Dec. 19. A total of 90 members, 20 from geographical constituencies, 30 from functional constituencies and 40 from the Election Committee (EC) constituency, will be returned.
To let Hong Kong citizens know more about the candidates of the EC constituency, the Hong Kong Coalition announced at a press conference today (Nov. 16) that a forum will be held for candidates of this constituency to introduce their political proposals to the public.
According to the Coalition, the forum will be held on November 26 from 2 pm to 6 pm, and each candidate will have 4 minutes to introduce themselves, and talk about their proposals.
Iris Wong from the HK Coalition said that the forum will be held in a fair, impartial and open manner, and will be broadcast live. The candidates' professionalism and backgrounds are highly diversified, and there are more innovative proposals on policies this time. Multilingual simultaneous interpretation service will also be provided at the forum.
