The China Manned Space Engineering Office announced on Thursday (Sept. 16) that the Shenzhou-12 manned spacecraft had successfully separated from China's Space Station.
Chinese astronauts Nie Haisheng, Liu Boming and Tang Hongbo are carrying out the Shenzhou-12 manned spaceflight mission.
According to the Office, the three astronauts completed the pre-evacuation work with the assistance of the ground staff before the separation, including space station settings, experiment data transmission, and orbital materials cleanup.
The mission has lasted for 90 days, setting a new record for the length of stay of a Chinese astronaut on a single mission, and they will return to Earth soon.
