Three cases of COVID-19 Mu mutant virus have been recorded in Hong Kong today (Sept. 4), respectively, from Colombia and the United States.
The Secretary for Food and Health Bureau, Sophia Chan, said today (Sept. 4) that the Center for Health Protection (CHP) closely monitors the situation. The most important thing is to keep a good eye on the external control input, including airport testing pending and isolation measures according to the area's risk.
The government will continue to monitor the situation to prevent any virus from entering the community and consider timely adjustments to the quarantine measures in HK.
