A man was killed after a taxi drove into a pedestrian island in Tai Po on Sunday (Aug. 22) morning.
Local media reported at least four persons being injured in the incident, which happened along Kwong Fuk Road after 11 am. One of the injured was rescued from under the taxi.
The incident caused traffic congestion in the area with photos shared on social media showing ambulances and an overturned traffic light.
