An eye-popping vaccine sweetener is on offer in Hong Kong, a metropolis known for having the least affordable housing in the world: a brand new flat worth HK$10.8 million. The registration of the lucky draw has opened from Tuesday (June 15).
In an announcement last month, the Sino Group, its charity arm Ng Teng Charitable Foundation and Chinese Estates Holdings said all residents of HK aged 18 or above are eligible to register for the lucky draw.
The 449-square-foot, one-bedroom flat in the Grand Central, a new apartment complex in Kwun Tong, will be the grand prize of a lucky draw offered by its developers. Only permanent residents of HK aged 18 will stand a chance of winning the prize.
The lucky draw offers another 20 prizes with the eligibility expanded to non-permanent residents. All vaccinated residents in HK, including those on work visas and domestic workers, will be able to win a prepaid or credit card value of HK$100,000 each.
Registration will close at 5:30 p.m. on September 1 and the lucky draw will be held on September 8. Winners will be notified by SMS on the same day via the mobile phone number provided during registration.
