A forum titled "International Communication in the New Era", co-organized by the Hong Kong Coalition and Friday Culture Limited, will be held next Monday (May 31). A number of political heavyweights and scholars will attend the forum and share their views in two separate seminars.
The forum will be webcast live. Leung Chun-ying, former Chief Executive of HK and Chief Convenor of the HK Coalition will deliver a keynote speech titled "Mission and Role of HK in the Construction of National Image." After that, various local and international leaders and scholars will share their insights in two seminars with the themes of "HK in the Spotlight: Understanding a Multi-faceted City" and "How to Tell China's Story in a Polarizing World".
Other distinguished guests include HK's Secretary for Finance Paul Chan, Deputy director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the HKSAR Lu Xinning, Acting Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China in the HKSAR Yang Yirui, Chairman of Friday Culture Limited Herman Hu, Oscar-winning director Malcolm Clarke, Chairman of Lan Kwai Fong Group Allan Zeman, etc.
