Commissioner of Police Tang Ping-keung, Deputy Commissioner (Management) Kwok Yam-shu and Deputy Commissioner (Operations) Siu Chak-yee officiated at the grand opening of the Police Souvenir Galley last Thursday (May 13).

Since its re-opening in September 2020, the gallery has rolled out various popular new products such as postcards, teddy bears in different uniforms and souvenirs of the Force's anti-scam mascot "The Little Grape." In the opening speech, Tang thanked the contractor of the gallery for their support to the Force.

"The souvenir gallery is very important to the police force, because the souvenirs can bring us a sense of recognition and pride," the commissioner said.

On the day of the grand opening, the gallery also launched the souvenir series of the Force's promotional video "Guarding the City." The series aims to disseminate the message that the HK Police always uphold the mission to "guard the city with faith" and they never flinch in the face of danger, slander or vilification amid the social unrest.
